1 DC voltage application characteristics
1.1 Rated voltage (Rated Voltage-VR)
Rated voltage is defined as: within the rated operating temperature range (Tmin ~ TR), the capacitor can withstand the maximum continuous DC voltage. It is related to the dielectric material and the thickness of the diaphragm.
1.2 The relationship between the maximum DC voltage and temperature
The temperature range category of the capacitor is given—the upper and lower limit ambient temperature values (Tmin ~ Tmax) that the capacitor can work normally continuously. Within this range, it defines the rated temperature ( rated temperature TR ) at which the capacitor can continue to work normally under a VR condition.
